The 5 Rules of Triangle Congruence
SSS (Side-Side-Side): All three sides of one triangle are equal to the three sides of another triangle.
SAS (Side-Angle-Side): Two sides and the included angle (the angle directly between them) of one triangle equal those of another.
ASA (Angle-Side-Angle): Two angles and the included side (the side between the two angles) of one triangle equal those of another.
AAS (Angle-Angle-Side): Two angles and a non-included side of one triangle are equal to the corresponding parts of another.
RHS (Right angle-Hypotenuse-Side): In two right-angled triangles, the hypotenuse and one matching side are equal.

Similar Triangles…
Two triangles are similar if they have the exact same shape but can be different sizes. This means their corresponding angles are identical, and their corresponding side lengths are proportional.
To prove two triangles are similar, you only need to satisfy one of the following three fundamental geometric rules:
